Alnylam (ALNY) triggered its bull flag breakout at $177.50 and closed very strong, a name showing impressive relative strength lately and under major accumulation. ALNY has recently seen buyers of 4000 September $200/$250 call spreads and still has size September $180/$240 call spreads that bought on 6/18 in OI that were spread against opening sales of the $150 puts. ALNY is in the midst of a strong commercial launch phase. ALNY has limited catalysts near-term outside of Oxlumo ILLUMINATE-C data in mid-21 to expand the opportunity into severe PH1 patients. Phase 3 vutrisiran HELIOS-A study with 18-month exploratory cardiac endpoints is expected by year-end. ALNY also expects data from ALN-HSD in NASH in 2H.
