This is the first open market buy in the name in over four years. Shares are down around 9% in 2021 and consolidation going back to August 2020 after a long run higher. CLVT recently announced a deal for ProQuest, a highly complimentary business that provides leading management and workflow solutions for institutions. The deal will be an immediate boost to EBITDA and revenue growth while helping CLVT push their recurring revenue base to 83%.  Analysts have an average target for shares of $32.75 and a Street High $36. The firm thinks the equity raise was a well-known event and Clarivate is a compelling story given its growing markets, expectation for organic revenue growth to accelerate and its scalable model.
